Im back!!! i also will take from this skills that will help me later in life too! Not only do they use claims and techniqes they use pictures and persuasive language too! the purpose and audience can change content because teens may no like the same stuff as adults or kids

I did suprisingly learn alot about this unit. i dont really know yet though how i can use this in real life. theey use the persuasive techniques to hook people. those or special techniques, claims, pictures, and persuasive words. they focuse on those main things and adapt the add to make it the right one for this audience. for example, if the audience is little kids they will use toys, etc. that kids like and canunderstand.
in this unit i learned that people in commericals are fakes! they tell you something, then do another. now when i go shopping i will definitelty be paying more attention to what im buying and who im buying from. advertisters influnce us with celebrities, saying things that we will believe and others. purpose is a big part of the advertisters they say the purpose is for this, when really its just to get your money(; and audience is a big part too! you have to make sure that you say the right things for your type of audience. like older women arent going to want little kid stuff and little kids arent going to want older things
First of all, this unit helped me learn many things. I learned techniques and claims. I pay attention to advertisements more often to see what kind of techniques or claims they include. Guarde, Bandwagon, Transfer, Testimonials, and Facts & Figures are some of the techniques I learned. Some claims I learned are the rhetorical question, Weasal words, Unique, and the Unfinished claim. I notice that advertisers switch up the ads depending on the target audience. For example, if the target audience are little kids, the advertisers would add many bright colors and not as much words.
what i would take away from this advertising unit is the weasal words because i think it id pointless to ask a random questin. Advertisors attempt to influence the consumer by making the product look the best so the consumer will buy there product. Purpose and audience shape the content in a persusive text out. The purpose shapes the content in pesuave text because if because the ad makers want the target audience to buy there product ther for they use persuasive techines they think will stand there wasnt a purpose for the text why make it or buy it. In this unit I learned about ads and how thers differnt type of them.Advertisers in fluance costomers by useing claims and techniqse to persuade the buyer.also they use persuadesive laguages.the peropose helps let people no the audience.And the audeince is who its for.so like if her selling ice cream its for kid
In this unit I learned how to tell apart different kinds of ads. Also how they are used targeting the target audience. What I will take away from this unit is how the advertisers try to trick you with saying all this stuff about it being free. If the audience is kids then the text will be not as much as an adult would have. Like little kids would buy an item if other kids on the ad have it. With an adult there not as likely yo buy it based on others. This is what I think.

In this section I have learned about the how advertisers influence an intended audience by using techniques, claims, and other persuasive things. For example, an advertiser could use the technique transfer to amke the intended audience feel good about what they are buying. Purpose is important because you can't make an ad for any old reason you have to have a reason to make th ad.
Also the audience is important because you ca't make a make up ad for toddlers.
I am going to take many things from this unit. One thing I am going to take from this unit is that to make sure that you really want the product. The advertisers will trick you into buying there product. I learned a lot of things this unit that were pretty fun, and some that would make me as slow as a sloth. I like sloths. Anyway, what I learned was, people that advertising and how advertising is done. Even though advertisments can get annoying at a lot of times, but without advertising, how would we know what kind of products to buy? I mean, you could go to the store, but how would you know what products are good and which ones are bad? All I'm tring to say is that I like advertisments. They try to get people by putting pursuasuve things. And sorry Icant answer the last question because the bell rang
I learned many things from this unit such as how advertisers use techniques, clams, persuasive words and images to trick the audience. What I will take away from this unit is how to persuade and get an audience’s attention. Advertisers use mainly bold fount and colorful pictures to influence and attract there target audiences. im gonna take things like the techniques and claims from this unit. i would take them because they are smart and unique to see in ads. advertisers use facts and figures and weasel words alot to get their customers influenced. i see those all the time in ads. if they have alot of facts on an ad for kids, kids wont understand. if they have kid words for parents, parents will think its stupid and not buy it. thats why they have kid commercials on things kids watch.
I have learned a lot of things from this unit. I have learned all kids of techniques and claims. This unit has also made me look at advertisements differently. Now when I see an ad I’ll look for the persuasive language, persuasive images and persuasive, images and claim/techniques. This unit has also taught me how to change my target audience. By changing how I word things, and the words I say. Also I have learned how to create a good vivid topic sentence.
